Does anyone know what DDR type memory block or blocks are required for my HP Laptop 15-db0xxx to upgrade the memory from 4BG to 16BG or better? The Product Number is 7XN35UA#ABA. Thanks in advance.

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the Crucial memory/SSD report for your notebook.

 

It has one memory slot, and the maximum memory you can install is 1 x 8 GB.

 

That means you would need to remove the 4 GB memory chip and replace it with an 8 GB memory chip.

I have the HP business notebook equivalent of yours (255 G7) with the same processor and 8 GB of memory.

 

It is adequate with the 8 GB of memory.

 

If our models didn't have the 256 GB SSD, they would be inadequate.
