The netbook will not power on. When charger is plugged in the white light comes on, on the dc port but that's it no other sign of power, and it's not charging the battery either. I manually charged the battery but unit still no power. Is the dc Jack the culprit? Does the dc Jack control power both coming in to and then distributing the power back to the motherboard? Please help???

Hi Jesse,
The power port does not control the distribution of power. You could try performing a hard power reset:

you could also try reseating the RAM modules or try a different one if you have a module lying around.
Let me know,
David

I've already tried all that. I've replaced the motherboard because it had soda spilled on it and the new board is not powering just like the old one, I've ordered a new dc Jack, a new power switch, and new ribbon cable to power switch, but they woont arrive for a few days, is there anything else that I'm not thinking of that would cause no power?
