HP Recommended

My girlfriend has a HP Laptop Model 15-dy5033dx. I know that the original card is only compatible with wifi 5. My question is could I upgrade the wifi card to the Intel AX 210 (is it compatible)? I would ensure to update the drivers properly. Is there anything to note about possibly doing this (downsides)?

There are many models in this series that use the following Wi-Fi card:

 

MediaTek Wi-Fi 6 MT7921 (2x2) and Bluetooth® 5.3 wireless card (supporting gigabit data rate)

 

for example:

 

HP Laptop 15-dy5011ca  and many more from this series
