HP Notebook - 14-df0023cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

=== HP Notebook - 14-df0023cl / Windows 10 ===

The manual states: Your computer may be equipped with a Global Positioning System (GPS) device . . .

Does my 14-df0023cl have GPS hardware installed?

If yes, why it is working *only* when the PC is online and does not offline?

The Location settings is ON.

From its specs: No, it does not have built-in GPS

Updated: Where did you get "The manual states: Your computer may be equipped with a Global Positioning System (GPS) device . . " from ?

The manual is a User Guide c06153159.pdf downloaded from my notebook HP page.

Details for this manual:

Second Edition: September 2018
First Edition: March 2018
Document Part Number: L19016-002

No, that document is NOT for your machine. Manual for your machine is

     http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06146792.pdf

And you can see on page 1

Manual does NOT mention anything about GPS.

Your link http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06146792.pdf  is a Maintenance and Service Guide

The link http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06153159.pdf which I referenced is a User Guide.

@mg128

Is it the User Guide for YOUR machine or just general ? The User Guide clearly says

Using GPS (select products only)
Your computer may be equipped with a Global Positioning System (GPS) device. GPS satellites deliver location, speed, and direction information to GPS-equipped systems.
To enable GPS, make sure location is enabled under the Location setting.▲
Type location in the taskbar search box, select Location privacy settings, and then select a setting.

And I can say: Some business machines may have GPS, other machines do not have.
