This notebook I got sold by 3rd party and has no warranty status has very annoying trackpad issues. what is the most convenient way to fix it? Ultimately a technician to visit to repair it if there is such an option? I could not get through to HP support as it gives only 2 options: Virtual Assistant and Ask the community.

If driver update from HP doesn't solve it, about all they can do is replace the touchpad. Your service manual with parts list is here- Service Manual It states the following parts #'s-
Natural silver L64897-001
Ash silver L64898-001
6nowflake white L64899-001
The service manual shows the procedure to replace the touchpad if you feel comfortable doing it.
