@Janice323

From its specs, it has  8 GB DDR4-2133 SDRAM (2 x 4 GB) now, that means all two slots are occupied. If you wish to upgrade to 16GB (max) you have to buy something similsr to the following fully compatible RAM

   https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/hp-15-bs080wm/CT11564706  (note: 2400MHz will run @ 2133MHz).

Hi,

Your PC will support max 32GB of DDR4 2400MHz RAM (2x16GB) even if service manual mentions 16GB

There are two slots. The RAM will run at 2133MHz. You can buy from your preferred brand such as Crucial, Samsung...

On page 50 of service manual you can see the steps to upgrade RAM:

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05493257

Another upgrade you should consider, which would most likely be a more noticeable upgrade in everyday performance would be to install a SATA3 M2 SSD or replace the hard drive with a 2,5" SSD.

Let me know if you need further help,

David
