Hi:
According to chapter 1 of the service manual, your notebook has one memory slot and can support 1 x 8 GB of memory.
Maintenance and Service Guide HP 15 Laptop PC
I've heard of folks successfully installing a 16 GB memory chip in notebooks with the AMD 'A' series processors but haven't done it myself.
You may want to run this report to see if it would be possible:
1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.
This will open the command prompt.
2. After the command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and hit enter.
There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.
The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.
If the report indicates 33,xxx,xxx or more then you should be able to install a 16 GB memory module in the notebook.
32 GB most likely would work and I wouldn't try it (even if the report indicates 67,xxx,xxx is supported).
The Crucial memory you posted should work.
