Hi, so I installed the new wireless card but it's not working and it's not showing on the laptop on device manager networks. Is there anything I can do?

So, the laptop detects the card now but the WiFi won't switch on on the laptop. I go to turn it on and it turns itself off within 10 secs. Done the driver update thing just incase, restarted laptop numerous times, disabled the card on device manager...kinda at a loss now on what to do next....

Sorry that the card isn't working for you.

Unfortunately, I don't know of any way to get it to work.

Th BIOS must have blocked the card from working because it should work automatically.

So it's useless?

Is there no other card that will work?

HP Recommended

Since the card didn't work and your notebook only has one antenna wire, I would say that you are limited to using the original card.

You can try the Intel AX200, but I don't know how well it would work with only one antenna wire, and the Bluetooth won't work at all.

That is really disappointing that the Realtek wifi-6 card was rejected by your notebook.

I won't be recommending that card to anyone else unless it is listed as a supported card in the service manual.

Hmmm, well I guess I'm stuck with what I have. Such a shame but it is what it is.

Thanks for all your help though!

You're very welcome.

Thanks for your efforts in trying out the card and confirming it didn't work.
