I recently bought this from Best Buy in 2018 and to my surprise, I first saw on the desktop the Windows 8.1 theme on my previous notebook it had previously. Since I'm covered, now the warranty on my laptop expired days after getting it. I recently used PC Health Check and discovered with the exception of secure boot and TPM version 2, that my notebook says it's not Windows 11 ready. Since it has 3 years to go before 2025, I'm unsure if I'm Windows 11 ready to go to the next level. And I'm not sure which drivers and software I should use for my next future HP notebook.

Hi:
Your notebook's i5-7200U processor does not meet the W11 hardware requirements.
If you want to upgrade from W10>W11, you will have to use one of the W11 hardware check bypass methods found on the internet to upgrade to W11.
I found this method to be the easiest way to do that...

Before trying to upgrade to W11, I recommend that you make a system image of your current W10 installation prior to updating to W11, so you can easily reinstall W10 in the future. I used the free Macrium Reflect software to do that, under the Backup at Home section.
Along with the system image, make sure you create the bootable DVD or USB rescue drive you boot from to access the system image stored on your portable hard drive.
