Hi

I have a similar question regarding an NVME M.2 SSD up grade. Looking at the manual in pages 46-47 of the manual it describes a  Solid-state drive bracket, connector board, and cable descriptions and part numbers. How can I get these parts and does my board support NVME M.2 SSD?

Thanks for your help,

Dave-NYC

Probably you are talking about following 3 parts

  • Solid-state drive bracket part # L22535-001
  • Solid-state drive connector board part # L22542-001
  • Solid-state drive cable part # L22527-001

Those part are for 2.5" bay, you can replace 2.5" HDD with M.2 format drive and only SATA because it uses SATA controller for HDD.

From the image, I can't see M.2 native slot. It is a CTO machine, did you order dual storage before ? If not, your machine may not have M.2 slot for storage at all.

Regards.
