Hello!

I've been battling a terrible battery for several months and now it's time to find the replacement!  I've searched through the HP Parts Store, popped in my model/serial number and the like - my battery is no longer in production.  Awesome?  I think not!

I'm not sure how to find a proper replacement battery, that works with my laptop.  I'm not concerned about the excessive longevity of the battery, I know aftermarket parts aren't as good as original, but I am concerned I won't be able to find it!

When removing the battery it does say the following:

Replace with HP Spare 710416-001

CT: 6 DGAK 11 SM 4K 1N4

Any and all help I can get would be useful.  Thank you so much in advance.

I found the same condition for my Envy 15 laptop (mine uses the same battery as yours).  I ordered this one from Amazon:

Fancy Buying PI06 Laptop Battery for HP PI09 710416-001

It has all the right certifications (RoHS, CE, etc.) and was cited in several "best of" battery reviews.  Haven't received it yet (due tomorrow) but you may want to look into it for yourself.  Use the search terms "HP 710416-001" to see all the options.
