I attempted to just look myself but got caught up with the kids climbing all over.. so I put back together what I had apart and will have to try again later.. this laptop apparently has 2 SATA ports, according to software Sandra and hwinfo. I'm pretty mad I couldn't finish talking the bottom case off to just look myself, so here I am asking you guys. I briefly looked through the manual but didn't see anything. I'm asking because I'm gonna try to set up 2 m.2 SATA drives in a raid configuration.. I'm aware that I could lose all my data if anything happens. Not a big deal! I don't keep important files on any of my PC's. It's mostly just for fun.

It's a simple question to answer, I know..  I just can't dismantle it for God knows how long. In a motel with 3 kids so... Not too much room in here!

Hi:

There are no M.2 slots in that model.

You have 1 bay for a 2.5" SATA drive.

Here is the link to the service manual.
