HP Stream Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have been attempting to install the update: HP Notebook System Bios Update (Intel Processor) from the HP Support assistant.

No mater how long I leave the update running it never finishes.  I have even left it running overnight without the update completing.

How can I find out what the issue is and fix it ?

Thanks

Stephen

Hi

It looks like you have a older version of HP support assistant in your PC install the latest version of it from the link below and run the updates

http://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html?jumpid=va_r602_ww/en/any/pps/pl...

it should complite all the updates...

Else provide me the product number of the PC i'll give you a direct link to update BIOS on your PC

Hope this helps.

how much space is enough ?

I had 6GB Free, but when I installed the assistant it started downloading over 5GB of additional files ?

On a related not I am now unable to do a windows update.

error code 0xC190020E: when installing update - Feature update to Windows 10, version 1607

again this is starting out with 6 GB free and I don't see how I can get any more space on this laptop.
