Hello Praveen196
As you advised, I did the file scan and it is clear.
Verification 100% Complete.
Windows resource protection did not find any integrity violations.
Secondly, I have updated the BIOS today ( The windows is already updated).
I'll update you if the problem persists or there is change in performance.

@Praveen196 I tried after updating the BIOS, but the problem still persists.
The charging stops and starts again and again. It connects and disconnects. Further the battery gives the backup of merely an hour.

@Mason_10 If none of that worked, I'd suggest you backup you data, take all the time you need, and then reset the windows, as we've done everything else there is to resolve the issue, and it looks like the operating system is the issue.
Good luck!

@Riddle_Decipher @Praveen196 Thanks I'll reset the system, once the project is over.
However, Could this be a battery issue? Because my system is 2 years old. And the battery backup has gone from 3 hours to an hour. [ However, the charging shouldn't be start and stop even if battery is old]

@Mason_10 If the reset doesn't work, than it's got to be the battery and replacing it would be the best way forward, you may order the replacement parts on the HP Parts Store, If you've already looked for it and couldn't find it on the HP Parts Store, you may want to get it locally at the online store such as Amazon or eBay, etc...as the part numbers are universal.
If you wish to thank me for my efforts, you could click on "Accept as solution" on my post as the solution should help others too.

@Riddle_Decipher Yesterday I used up all the battery and the system was shut down. After charging the system for two hours, when I started it - It shows me error message as follows
HP Battery Alert
The system has detected the storage capacity of the battery stated below to be very low. For optimal performance, this battery may need to be replaced.
Primary (internal) battery (601)
ENTER - Continue to start up.
Secondly, I checked the battery using HP Assistant now and it shows Primary Battery : Replace and error message as RE00W.
So is that it? Battery aged ?

Thank you for the update.

If Primary (internal) Battery (601) appears in the alert message, it means the measured storage capacity of the primary (internal) battery is less than 25% of the original storage capacity. The number “601” denotes the associated error code that is recorded in the system log.
To resolve a Battery Alert message, you should perform the Battery Test in the System Diagnostics (F2) environment, and calibrate the battery for best performance.
To access the HP System Diagnostics Battery Test, turn on the computer and immediately press the esc key to display the Startup Menu. Press the System Diagnostics F2 key, and then select the Battery Test option.
For instructions on testing the condition of your battery, see Testing and Calibrating the Battery (Windows).

@Praveen196 I did the component test under UEFI and the results are as below
===============================
Battery Check : Primary - Weak (31)
Component Test : PASSED
Battery Details
Charge Capacity : 28% ( However on laptop it showed me 72%)
Cycle Count : 611
Battery Age : 1332 days
Design Capacity : 2850mAh
Full Charge Capacity : 808mAh
However after charging it the battery above 50% ( which took 4-5 hours because of charging on and off issue), the error message i.e 601 has now disappeared.
What you recon? Any other way to check the battery further?
Looking forward to your response.

I understand your concerns.
In that case, I would suggets you contact our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.
Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.
1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/
2)Select the product type.
3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.
4)Select the country from the drop-down.
5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
We are experiencing longer than expected wait times to reach an agent due to the CoViD-19 impact and there might have been issues in you getting the expected resolution on the issue.
Have a nice day!!
