Hi,

I'm trying to upgrade the main SSD drive, which is installed in the M2 slot: from the original toshiba 256GB, to a WD Blue SN580, 500 GB.
The problem is that, since I need installing windows 10 on it, on startup from the bootable USB the windows installation application cannot read the storage devices (any of them, not even the second SATA slot). Looking in the forum, it seems intel RTS drivers are missing. I've tried to import them via a USB pen drive (downloading them from the HP support site) but still, the windows installation doesn't manage to install them.

Any idea on what I should do?

Hi @rohifa

The processor in this model does not require Intel RST drivers. Most likely, the USB is not created correctly or is damaged. Use the Microsoft media creation tool to create the USB installation drive.
