Dear Sirs, a few days ago I got a message that I need to calibrate the battery. I followed the steps that appear in HP support, I used the HP PC support Windows application, when I proceeded with the battery diagnosis it asked me to calibrate it, I followed the steps, the computer restarted, then I entered the BIOS support, it showed a percentage and restarted in less than a second, I am leaving you the information on the procedure.

You can try calibrating it, but a three years old you might as well replace it.
If the both the laptop and battery BMS (battery management system) chips have flagged it as a fail, it will not ever charge up enough to be useful.

It is highly recommended to use only an original HP battery. "Compatible" batteries may or may not work as expected.
