My hp omen is a having a problem for the past few days. The dedicated GPU (GTX 1660ti) is not being used at all. It isn't showing up in task manager and also cant see the temps in omen gaming hub. However it does show up in device manager under display adapters. I have tried installing the newest drivers form nvidia but no luck. Nvidia control panel also doesn't open for some reason.

When you do not identify your desktop or laptop PC, you tie our hands behind our backs. Help us to help you.
When logged into Windows, hold down the Windows key and tap the R key once.
That will open the Windows run dialogue
Type in msinfo32 and press enter.
The ninth line is the SKU and the HP product number. Kindly post it in your next reply in your thread.
The System SKU/Product ID will enable us to determine the hardware configuration of your notebook.

In my previous post, I did ask for a more specific identification of your laptop.
What you have given is the model series of your laptop which does not give me the hardware specification of the one that you possess.

I see. I tried it and had the same result.
That is peculiar, but it isn't something we can change. That one is on Microsoft.
Try the compatibility troubleshooter option.
There isn't anything wrong with trying the Windows 8 option either.
