HP Omen 15-ax280nd
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello Everyone,

I am looking for an upgrade on my SSD M.2, because my laptop is verly slow due to low storage.

Currently it has a SANDISK Z400S 128 GB SATA III M.2

And I want to buy the Samsung 970 EVO Plus M.2 500GB SSD

The SANDISK has a B+M connector.

Picture of the SANDISK: https://ibb.co/t8wDFRg

But for the Samsung im not sure, i cant find it anywhere.

When i look into my pc, it has i think only a B or an M connector.

Picture of the slot: https://ibb.co/fM7thkp

The crucial website says it would fit an B or M, that looks just like the Samsung 970 Evo Plus

https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/hp-omen-15-ax280nd/CT13044672

But i am doubting that it would fit.

Could someone help me with my problem?

Sincerely,

CROSSBOWWEAPON

@CROSSBOWWEAPON

As per the Service Guide: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05357609, you can upgrade to the Following SSD Hard drives

These Hard drives have been tested and known to work with the HP Omen 15-ax280nd

You could try other SSD Hard drives but HP cannot guarantee the functionality or performance of those Hard drives

Thank you 😊
