Hello,
I appologize if question like this has been asked before.
Could anyone please advise is there any possibility that HP Omen 15-dc0017nm model supports second hard disk?
There is a dedicated slot for 2,5" drive, besides originally installed NVMe™ M.2 SSD.
Also, I believe that sata cable Part Number 858969-001, per HP Omen Repair Manual, is appropriate to connect in with it's dedicated sata slot.
However, on two occasions, I have tried to install first WD black 2,5" drive, and later on 2,5" SSD drive, but system only recognizes original, NVMe™ M.2 SSD.
Is there any way that second hard drive can be installed and used, in this laptop model?
Thank you.

Your machine is NOT on the following list for part # 858969-001
http://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=858969-001
it is for different HP Omens. You need
- Hard drive cable connector part # 929450-001
- Hard drive brackets part # 929561-001

@Banhien
Thank you very much, I appreciate your advice and link you you've shared here.
However, it brings me to the next few question.
I have looked at the HP Part Surfer, for the cable Part Number you have provided (929450-001), but it doesn't list my laptop model 15-dc0017nm (4TU33EA). It does list model 15-dc0017TX, which is the closest to one I have.

Also, i don't know if there is any relevance, but I have purchased my laptop in Croatia. Is it maybe possible that model I have has some limitations, due to region it has been sold to?
I cannot at the moment compare both sata cable part numbers, but isn't it any (visible) difference between them their length? Shouldn't the connectors and wires be identical; and have same routing?
