Hi,
I got this great Omen laptop (15-dn1010na) which comes with a physically huge 200w power supply. I'd love a smaller charger for travel, even if it doesn't charge as fast.
I already know that my old 65w HP charger will not run this laptop, but it will charge it when it is switched off, what I'm wondering is if I order the smaller HP 150w smart charger, will that operate this laptop, even if it doesn't charge it, or it doesn't charge as fast?
Any hints appreciated!

Thank you for the information.
Yes, you can use a 150W charger, however, your computer will not be able to run at its full potential.
I hope that answers your question.
