Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I recently sent my Hp OMEN 16 laptop to repair at an offic due to a motherbpard failure.

The laptop came back missing Bluetooth connectivity. But since I needed it for my study I couldn't send it in again for repair.

Now, 3 months later, the CPU fan is breaking. When it spins, it almost sounds like a motorcycle, very loud and rattling. Sometimes even grinding sound. Sometimes it stops and starts again, seemingly regardless of load. I has worked & stopped working both at high & low temperature.

I've opened up the back to clean the fans with compressed air suspecting the problem was due to dust buildup. While cleaning I noticed the CPU fan (compressed air doesn't even turn the fan, manually only with slight pressure) faced much greater resistance than the GPU fan (pretty much no resistance at all to the compressed air/manual turning). The resistance was constant and with no grinding. It didin't feel like anything was stuck.

Does anyone know what the problem is and if there is a quick fix available? Or if I have to replace the fan?

Thank you for reading and helping.

Kind regards, Zachary
