Hi, so today from Amazon India i bought this laptop and expecting a really great experience from it. My question here is what 1TB SSD is provided here whether it is Gen 3 or Gen 4, whether the provided SSD is soldered or not and lastly whether we have a seperate slot to add another SSD. Lastly, if anyone owns this laptop can you tell me how are the thermals here ?

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the service manual for the model series.

 

Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)

 

All of the NVMe SSD's HP offered in the model series are PCIe 4 x 4 (see chapter 1).

 

They can be removed and replaced (see chapter 5).

 

There is only support for one M.2 SSD.

 

If you want more storage than 1 TB of storage, you will need to replace that drive with a 2 TB drive.
