Currently waiting on my custom built Omen laptop. I wanted to know if a 2nd hard drive could be added to the system. This wasn't an option during the build process.

What is your HP 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-cp0000 (2Q7W8AV) ? Sounds like there is a crossover line of series here when you says it is an HP Omen 17 Laptop 17t-ck100.
Please use the following way to find out what is your machine

Dual storage is an option on this model series theoretically. See the Service Manual here:
If you ordered it with just the M.2 SSD, then the adapter hardware for a 2.5 inch disk will not be included and you would have to buy that hardware in addition to the 2.5 inch storage disk of your choice.
The part of the Manual showing hard drive replacement seems to have been omitted however, and there is no listed part number for the mounting hardware just a hard drive so I suspect that part is the drive plus hardware.
Hard drive (not illustrated)
2 TB, 5400 rpm 912487-855
1 TB, 5400 rpm L30422-001
Oddly the mounting hardware part only (not the drive itself) is sold on eBay under that part number for $7??
If you look at p. 34 of the Manual it does appear to show a 2.5 inch drive bay to the left of the battery. It would be unusual for a 17 inch laptop not to have room for dual storage disks.

This manual doesnt match the computer I ordered.

6M0U7A: does not ring any bells.

Looks like your machine is an ck because @Huffer gave you a manual for the HP 17-cp0xxx machines with AMD processors and you said that is wrong.

That is a brand new machine.
The 17t-ck100 designation does not seem to pull up an HP Product Number or manual. I think it is actually a newer version of the 17t-cb1000 series. It also has dual storage and the parts needed to add a hard drive are on p. 19 of the Manual:
Wish we could help further but without a valid model or product number very hard to do.

I would use ck0xxx as examples, machines use Intel Gen 11 processors - very close. They has TWO M.2 NVMe slots therefore users can add 1 TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD (4x4 SSD) to have RAID0 configuration OR use as dual storage. More information is on page 2 of the following manual
