my HP Omen 17 ck0501na SN [personal info removed] display cable has been damaged and i cant seem to get it repaired or find a new part - can anyone help please 

its just over a year old and now useless

Hi:

 

It appears that your notebook comes with the UWVA sRGB 300n LBL 165Hz display.

 

According to chapter 3, page 19 of the service manual, you need this display cable/part number:

 

Display panel cable (includes display cover adhesive and display bezel adhesive)
For use with QHD 165 Hz display panels   HP part # M57112-001

 

Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)

 

Unfortunately, the part is not orderable from HP.

If you can't find one for sale in the UK, it looks like you can buy this part on eBay, UK but it ships from the United States.

Thank you so much for your help - i have ordered the part from the US and it will arrive on January 5th - then off to get it fitted - fingers crossed
