I have attempted to upgrade my ram from 8gb to 32gb, but it seems that while both of my new Crucial ram cards are detected and work in either slot (upgrading my computer to 24gb), my computer will not boot without the OEM ram card also installed (also in either of the 2 slots). I'm getting the feeling that it is just locking me from from doing this, and I want to know if there is a way to unlock the ability to use only these compatible ram cards without the OEM one. I'm fine with having the 24 for the time being but I did purchase 32gb and I'd like to use all of it. Thank you if anyone has a solution.

From the manual (page 4) It supports 16GB (2 x 8GB), Have you tried that ?
Regards.
