HP Omen 17
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I've recently had a problem with my HP Omen whereas the hinge appears to have snapped, in order to stop the broken hinge from completely breaking the case I unscrewed the hinge and folded it down. Since doing this the case on the opposite corner of the laptop has formed a crack in it and the laptop case now bends pretty horribly whenever the laptop of moved or the lid closed. The laptop is pretty much unusable at the moment as I don't want to move it too much and potentially break the case any more.

Is there anywhere I can get a replacement hinge and case cover from?

Hi @stonier84

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!
