So I just bought an HP Omen gaming laptop from Best Buy on the 19th. I open it new from the box to try it out and it seemed fine however it can't run the pokemon tcgo at all. Launching it will cause the screen to turn black and render the laptop unresponsive. Uninstalled it then just used the computer to browse on google chrome and the screen will either turn black or start glitching out like squares and colors will show up. Speakers will even emit a screeching-like static noise. Took it to geeksquad and they couldn't find anything wrong. I use it again to browse and I get a blue screen. I'm surprised I was able to write up to this point without the thing crashing.
So far, laptop is brand new but already crashing, can't return it to Bestbuy because it's past the 15 days so they can't do **bleep** about it. What can I do to fix this? There isn't really a straight-forward answer for this, I'm not an expert on computers so it's a bit hard to follow instructions. Tried doing a hard reset to check this and it tells me to press f2 right after I turn on the laptop but that doesn't work.
Is there a straight-forwad answer for this? Can I just take it to some HP place and they could look at it? I'm pretty sure it's something with the hardware because there are other reviews that reported the blue screen.
Please, please help. I just feel like I want to break the **bleep** thing out of frustration but I spent a lot on this so I want to make it work and be ensured that it won't happen again.

For you to have the best experience on the HP forum, you could also visit our HP Forums Guide for the First Time Here? Learn How to Post and More.
I see from the post that you are having issues with your new HP Omen laptop keeps crashing. Don't worry as I have a few steps which should help you resolve this issue.
To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:
Could you provide me with the Product number and the Operating system installed on the PC? (Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...) http://hp.care/2bygf7l
Have you recently made any software or hardware changes on the PC before the issue started?
Do you have the exact error message that you see on the screen?
In the meantime while you respond, please try these steps here:
Perform a Hard reset on the notebook:
Next thing, I would suggest here is to update the Bios, on your computer from our HP support website, using this link.
You could also try to perform Windows update, click here
-
In Windows, search for and open View advanced system settings.
-
In the Advanced tab, under Startup and Recovery, click Settings.
-
Under System Failure, remove the check mark next to automatically restart, and then click OK.
-
Restart the computer to apply the change.
-
The computer no longer restarts automatically when a blue screen error occurs.

Please reply back with the error code as the issue is code specific and it would be rather easier to provide an accurate solution using the same.
