Hi @Caini,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your PC!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Disconnect the AC adapter and remove any connected peripherals.
  • Press and hold the power button for about 10-15 seconds to perform a hard reset.
  • Reconnect the AC adapter and try turning on the laptop.

Check the Power Adapter and Connections:

  • Ensure that the power adapter is firmly connected to both the laptop and the power outlet.
  • Try using a different power outlet or check with another compatible HP power adapter to rule out issues with the charger.

Inspect for Visible Damage:

  • Check the charging port and power adapter for any visible damage or debris that might prevent proper connection.

Remove the Battery (If Applicable):

  • If your laptop has a removable battery, try removing the battery and powering the laptop directly with the AC adapter.

Power Cycle:

  • Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery (if possible).
  • Press and hold the power button for approximately 15-20 seconds.
  • Reinstall the battery and reconnect the power adapter, then attempt to turn on the laptop.

Check Indicator Lights:

  • If there are any indicator lights on the laptop, observe their behavior when trying to power it on. This may provide clues as to whether power is reaching the device.

I hope this helps.
