Hello,
I've got this Pavilion 15 P003LA since 2014 and its still working smoothly. The only thing that concerns me is the battery life which currently never lasts beyond 2 hours (at super saving settings) . 2 years ago my battery got replaced since the one it came with got damaged and HP send over a brand new one for an apparent issue with this models. Right now Im needing a little more battery life than that but not sure if changing it to a brand new one will battery will improve it.
So a couple questions I have is:
With this change will it be possible to get 4-5 hours of battery life?
Where could I buy this battery? I could get it either in US or in Colombia.
Thanks for your comments in advance.
Regards,

That battery is used up like a bald tire on a car. It has 362 cycles and was designed to have 300 max, and it has only 62% of the original capacity to store electricity. Definitely time for a new one and if you get 2 hours on that one you can reasonably expect to get 3.5 or 4 out of a new one.

Hello @Yker,
You could get a good idea of your battery's current condition by testing it in HP Support Assistant's Battery Checker. You can do this by opening HP Support Assistant on your laptop, navigating to Troubleshooting and Fixes, then selecting Battery Check. Once the test finishes, select Show Advanced Information.
In case you don't already have it, here is the download page for HP Support Assistant.
Let us know how it goes.
Kind regards,
Eddy
