I’m looking to upgrade both RAM and hard drive.  Could you help with specs for what is needed?

Below is the link to the Crucial memory/SSD report for your notebook.

Your notebook supports a max of 2 x 4 GB of memory.

 

2.5" SSD's...The MX models provide faster read/write speeds than the BX models do.
