Hi everybody,
I recently bought a Pavilion 14-bf102nl and I'm trying to use two external monitors:
- one with the hdmi port
- one using an USB-C to hdmi adapter.
The first one works fine.
The second one is dead and as soon as I plug in the usb-c adapter windows shows me a warning "Display connection might be limited ". I was trying to understand if the problem is the adapter or the usb-c port not supporting Alternate mode?
I couldn't find any data on manuals e/o support pages.
Thank you in advance.

The USB-C is for data only:
External ports | 1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer up to 5 Gb/s); 2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 (Data transfer only); 1 HDMI; 1 RJ-45; 1 headphone/microphone combo |
Above from the official specs. I have the same thing on a 14m-cd0xxx I bought recently. Nice laptop but the USB-C doesn't do much for you. My Spectre 13-vxxx on the other hand has Thunderbolt ports which do carry a video signal.
