I plan to buy HP Pavilion 14-ce0068st and upgrade it with ssd. I can replace the HDD with SDD, but I prefer to add a new M.2 SSD to keep the storage space. Anyone knows whether there is M.2 slot for this model? Thank you.

Yes there is. Here is the Service Manual:
start on p. 33 for rear cover removal.
Either a SATA-3 2280 form factor M.2 or a PCIe/NVME will work and you want the latter. I recommend the Samsung 970 Evo. Just put one in my own 8th gen laptop and get 3200 mbps + read and 2400 mbps + write and you can't get much better than that. Also prices have come down on these lately:

I have the same concern too.
How can we install nvme m.2 in this laptop? Is it very technical or can I do it myself? Where is the pcie/ nvme slot located in this laptop? Should we open the display panel as well? Will it void the warranty?
Please help. Thanks!
