Hi,
Following on from my last thread (which was successful, so thanks for the help!) does anyone know where I can source the following spare parts OR what the closest alternatives to use are (which will work in the above laptop? Surely there are a few generac parts that will work in their place?
Daniel

I do not apologize for any statements I have made in this thread. I have not had any misunderstanding about what you have stated. I have been polite to you and have provided you with accurate information.
That is not a compatible part.

Sure.
To find the parts just use the word HP and the part number in a search engine to find an online vendor. See how I did the search at the link below.

Generic parts are not such a great idea with a notebook as small as yours. You are better off with genuine parts in this case.

That is not the case.
Anyone who clicks on the link that I provided can see that eBay in Europe and in the US are viable sources for the part at decent prices.
eBay US
eBay Netherlands
I will depart your thread. I really don't feel like playing your game.

Thanks for the link but the US eBay one states out of stock so that doesn't help, plus the HDD cable doesn't list the part number so not sure if it's compatible.
The Netherlands one may be worth a shout for me so I will bare that one in mind but again I will still need the hdd connector cable
I tried to Google it and search and search for the parts, I have emailed all the companies on the HP spare parts stock supplier companies too.
But obviously since I don't know how to Google anything maybe I have done this wrong.
Thanks for the help.

I did not say anything about "Googling it".
I suggested using a search engine. I supplied the keywords as well plus a successful search with results.

Apologies for any misunderstanding on both our parts.
Would you know if this part would be compatible, I can get a bracket in think but struggling to get the correct cable, it looks the same as one I need but not sure if it is.

Thank you for clarifying the part won't be compatible.
I will now mark your answer as the solution as i have no interest in continuing to try and get support.
I was very much being the bigger person. For the record you have been condescending and rude. If you can't see that that's an unfortunately an issue you must have with yourself and i recommend self reflection.

Thank you anyway.
