Hi

I have a HP Pavilion 14-ce3064st, and it has 8GB RAM that i am trying to upgrade.

I cannot find how much maximum RAM it can be upgraded.

https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06632443  - looking here it doesnt really tell me how much max i can upgrade it to , i understand it has to be ONLY run at 2666MHz.

Can i upgrade to 32 GB or 64 GB for 2666MHz ?
Also does it only have 1 slot or can i use 2x16GB or 2x32GB ?

thank you

Hi:

HP only has the service manual for the older model series on the support page.

HP Pavilion 14-ce3000 Laptop PC series - Setup and User Guides | HP® Support

According to chapter 1 of the manual for the older models, the notebook has two memory slots and can support 2 x 8 GB of memory.

If you want to see if your notebook can support more than 2 x 8 GB of memory, you can run this command to find out:

1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.

This will open the command prompt.

2. After the command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and press the enter key.

There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.

The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.

Your notebook can use DDR4-2666 or DDR4-3200 memory (DDR4-3200 memory will run at 2666 MHz).
