HP Pavilion 15-CS1xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

My laptop takes lot of time to boot windows and able to start using. So planning to add a SSD. Laptop came with a 1 TB HDD.

Will this laptop (HP Pavilion 15-CS1xxx) support 500 GB PCIe M.2 2280 SSD or can only use 250 GB PCIe M.2 2280 SSD along with the existing 1 TB HDD?

Kindly provide your inputs.

Thanks in Advance.

OK.

Yes, you can install an M2 PCIe NVMe SSD from your preferred brand and capcity.

There is no limit to the capacity of the SSD, so you could even use 1TB or more

Example

On page 54 of service manual you can see the steps to install the drive
