Battery won't charge past 75% and charge then runs out within 30 minute. The battery scan recommends a replacement but I haven't found one on HP site. Any ideas on how to go about getting a working battery? Or is the battery itself reparable somehow?

To find out for sure, you could try HP's "Testing and calibrating the battery" steps found here: HP Notebook PCs - Testing and calibrating the battery (Windows) | HP® Customer Support.
Chances are though, that the battery is worn out, especially after years of usage.
Here's a replacement battery purchase option for your HP Pavilion 15-p077na notebook: Dr. Battery Advanced Pro Series HP Pavilion 15-p077na LHP271-AP 2600mAh / 38Wh Notebook Battery - Ba.... Btw, this 38Whr battery option (LHP271-AP) has a little bigger capacity than the standard 33Whr battery option (LHP271).
