Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

 

I am using HP Pavilion ab032tx with 1TB SATA 5400rpm hard drive;  I would like to upgrade it to SSD M.2 and move OS to same; can I upgrade it ?(i.e. laptop should have a free M.2 slot)

 

Can I use M.2 port of CD drive to upgrade to SSD?

Also, can I shift my HDD to CD drive using SATA caddy and install upgraded M.2 SSD in place of HDD?

 

Which would be the most convinient option?

 

My usage involves using softwares like MATLAB, ABAQUS, MAPLE, MATHEMATICA, etc.

 

Can you please suggest me m.2 SSd which a compatible with my device?
