My system is HP Pavilion 15-ab200 Notebook and Processor Intel(R) Core (TM) i5-5200U CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.19GHz. I am considering an upgrade to SSD to boot windows from to get the speed benefits and leave the HDD for storage use.
In particular, I was looking at this model: Samsung 960 EVO Series - 500GB PCIe NVMe - M.2 Internal SSD (MZ-V6E500BW)
Does this SSD confirm this is compatible with my model? If not, can you suggest a 100% compatible one?

As per the Service Guide: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04642845 the HP Pavilion 15-ab200 has been tested with the SSD, 256GB, 2280, M.2, SATA-3, TLC.
Other SSD Hard drives might work but HP cannot guarantee the functionality or performance of those Hard drives

can You make me clear one thing,
Does writing and reading speed of SSD data depend on the speed of the processor? Suppose the Samsung 960 EVO Series - 500GB PCIe NVMe - M.2 is supported, then my processor will be able to read and write with 3000/3500 Mb speed? What is the read and write speed of my laptop?

The Processor does not affect the Read/Write speed of the SSD HDD.
You can refer to page 121 in the Service Manual for the Read/Write Speed of the hard drive on the Notebook
