Hi.
I am currently looking into upgrading my RAM for my laptop from 8gb(2x4gb) to 16gb(2x8gb).
While looking through a list of RAM-s in a store, I noticed three RAM-s I am interested in:
1.) G.Skill Ripjaws, SO-DIMM, 8GB, DDR4 3200MHz, CL22
2.) Transcend JetRam JM3200HSB, SO-DIMM, 8GB, DDR4 3200MHz, CL22
3.) Crucial CT8G4SFRA266, SO-DIMM, 8GB, DDR4 2666MHz, CL19
The reason I listed them here is because I read somewhere that your CPU speed has to be similar to your RAM speed so that is my question. Can someone tell me what is the speed of my CPU and also which one of these three RAM-s is the best choice?

You can use an a free and safe enthusiast utility called CPU-Z to get information on your processor, mainboard and installed memory.
https://www.cpuid.com/downloads/cpu-z/cpu-z_1.79-en.exe?utm_mediu
It is diffifcult to find compatibility information on GSkill and Transcend memory modules in terms of guaranteed compatibility.
The Crucial memory CT8G4SFRA266 you had in your list is a guaranteed compatible memory module.

For results on the first try, remove the original module and replace with a pair of guaranteed compatible memory.
