I have upgraded my laptop with Samsung 970 Evo Plus NVMe 500GB( 3500MB/s-3300MB/s) M.2 SSD (MZ-V7S500BW) .

I instaled Windows 10 (64 bit home edition) . I tested its data write and read spead but its aproximitly  for write and read 1700 MB/S.     it couldnt reach 3500 MB/s .

Do you have any suggestion why this happen and how i will solve it ? And i search on BİOS to find solitions but i couldnt get into whole menu its like forbiden . My i overclock my laptop and how ?

Hi,

I believe it has x2 PCIe Lanes. For max speed, you would need x4 PCIe Lanes.

Now the SSD is already much faster than a SATA3 SSD. The max speed is not really that important unless you are transferring large files all day from one PCIe drive to another drive.

It would be really difficult to overclock the notebook and it is probably not a good idea, as when your CPU and GPU are running at max, even now, your notebook will probably have a hard time keeping it cool.

Hope it helps,

David
