Hi, I am planning to buy  HP Pavilion - 15-cc166tx  but the sales person says it's a old model... any new models available than this one ?

It is from the 2017 notebook model year.

 

My reference source is HP's own marketing information, specifically the HP product content browser.  The sales person may not even have access to that or know what it is.

No. It is also from 2017. 

 

Same reference source used.

 

Use the HP online store to see the 2018 model line.  The  link below is for the US store. Go to the bottom of the web document and change the region to match where you live to see what is being offered  by HP for 2018 in your country.
