I purchased an HP Pavilion 15-cc183cl (see image and specs) and I would like to know if the laptop has an M.2 slot that supports a NVME PCIE internal SSD? I would love to upgrade the computer with a Samsung 970 Evo Plus M.2 NVMe SSD.
Thank you in advance!

Hi:
Yes, it is supposed to have a M.2 slot that supports NVMe M.2 SSD's.
See chapter 1, page 2 of the service manual.
Solid-state drive:
For use only on computer models with model numbers 15-cc1xx and 15-cc6xx:
● 512-GB, 2280, Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe), Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe)
solid-state drive
● 256-GB, 2280, PCIe, NVMe solid-state drive

Thanks so much! I see that only 256 and 512 GBs are specified in particular. Could 1 TB SSD like this Samsung one linked here work as well?

You're very welcome.
I see no reason why a 1 TB NVMe SSD wouldn't work.
The capacities listed in the service manual are just what HP offered in the model series.
I would imagine that offering 1 TB and 2 TB NVMe SSD's would make the notebook unaffordable for most folks.
