HP Pavilion - 15-cc195cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there,

I was planning to purchase - HP Pavilion - 15-cc195cl laptop. The configurations seems solid, but I was surprised when I saw the Battery type. Why is it that it is just a 3-cell, 41 Wh Li-ion. I believe all new laptops should have alteast 6 cell for a backup around 4-5 hours. But why is the battery of this model just 3 cell? will we still get atleast 4 hrs back up for normal use?

Thanks,

Prem

There are few reasons

(a) Newer Li-on batteries are getting better than the of technology,

(b) Newer notebooks consume less batteries,

(c) Vendors (including HP) want lighter machines and cheaper.

(d) may be more.

Regards.
