Hey y'all,
I'm currently replacing the storage in my HP laptop and I noticed that there was an NVME spot. However, there were conflicting responses in the forum that NVME isn't supported. I'd just like some clarification on the subject.
Thank you!

Hi:
NVMe SSD's are not supported.
Several forum members have tried to install NVMe SSD's in that model series and were unsuccessful even though the manual indicates that NVMe SSD's are supported.
Out of all of the 15-cc notebook models, only the 15-cc1xx model series notebooks can support NVMe SSD's.

There's others, but two discussions should be sufficient.
You can install a WD Blue SA510 M.2 SSD if you don't want to replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive.
