Hello colleagues, I need to know what type of M.2 SSD is compatible with my HP model. Which interface is SATA or PCIe compatible with NVMe. I bought a V-NAND SSD 970 EVO Plus NVMe M.2 500GB and didn't recognize it. Can someone tell me what kind of M.2 SSD to buy? Thanks in advance.

Hi:

 

Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates that your notebook's M.2 slot supports both SATA and NVMe SSD's, so in theory the Samsung 970 SSD should have worked.

The Crucial report for your model shows compatible M.2 NVMe SSD's for sale.
