Hi,
we're rolling out HP USB-C G5 docks and one user has a HP Pavilion 15-cs0960nd laptop, that doesn't charge via usb-c from the dock. The monitors, keyboard and mouse work. It just doesn't charge the battery.(Battery does charge with the ac adaptor).
According to the product specs it is supposed to support power over usb-c:
"1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer up to 5 Gb/s, Power Delivery"
Anyone have any ideas on how to get this to work?

The specs of your machine is

HP USB-C Gen 5 should work with the Pavilion machine. I don' have a Pavilion machine BUT I tested on an Envy machine (which has similar USB-C port. They worked.
Please update firmware, hope they work.

Hi Banhien, I updated the firmware on the HP USB-C Dock G5 to version 1.0.14.0 Rev.A and I also updated the Pavilion laptop to the latest bios version F.24 Rev.A. But unfortunatly it still isn't charging via the usb-c poort. Everything else does work via the usb-c poort(monitor, keyboard, mouse, network). So than it is probably not fixable, right?
