HP Pavilion - 15-cs3847nd
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Last Februari we bought a HP Pavilion - 15-cs3847nd.

In general we are happy with this laptop, but are getting more and more annoyed by the fan noise.

It is a high frequency noise (mechincal / air)  and you get the feeling you are back in time 20 year......
I did some reading on the internet and it sounds like a familiar issue with HP laptops, but i haven't read on a solution.........

Please advise on how we can fix this fan noise....

@ARNL Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you are getting fan noise from the 15-cs3847nd  laptop.

Do not worry. I will try to fix the issue.

Please update the chipset, thermal driver and also, update the BIOS.
