Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello

I have  a problem with HP Pavilion - 15-ec0004nw.

Cmos error and time is reset.
It looks simple - replace the CMOS batteries.
But... where is this battery?
There is no socket for the standard CR2032 battery on the maimboard.

Where is the CMOS battery located?

Is it soldered permanently?

Is it built into the laptop's battery?

Hi:

The main battery also serves as the CMOS battery.

There is no separate coin cell CMOS battery.

You will not find one listed as an available part in chapter 3 of the service manual, and you will not find a procedure to remove or replace a CMOS battery.

The CMOS battery is also referred to as a Real Time Clock (RTC) battery.
