HP Pavilion 15-n208tx Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I wanted to upgrade RAM for my laptop (HP Pavilion 15-n208tx Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)) to 16 GB and for that I searched on internet as well checked product specification, at some places it says 12 GB is the maximum RAM supported and at some places it says 16 GB maximum RAM supported.

My question is What is maximum RAM supported for my laptop and what speed should I choose for same.

So if guys can help me on this, it would be great help.

Thanks in advance 🙂

Hi:

Your notebook supports 2 x 8 GB of DDR3L-1600 memory.

https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hP-Compaq/pavilion-15-n208tx

The 12 GB max listed in the service manual is incorrect.

If you can install 8 GB in one memory slot, then you can install 8 GB in the other memory slot.

Many thanks Paul_Tikkanen 😀 , It worked with 16 GB RAM as you said. I have stalled 2X8 GB of Corsair value select.
