HP Pavilion 15z-p000 CTO
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So I am planning on upgrading the TN, HD LCD screen for my old laptop, HP pavilion 15z-p000 CTO from HD to FHD, IPS panel.

The original TN screen is LTN156AT35-H01, 15.6 inch...must be lvds, 40 pin, 1 channel, 6 bit.

My display cable is Y14ALC130 or DDY14ALC130, can anyone confirm if this is a 2 channel LVDS cable?

Anyone have done any upgrade and can share what is their FHD LCD cable? Y14ALCxxx?

Somewhere in pin 20-30, there are 3 cables in alternating sequence, not sure if those are the the extra 2nd channel? or those are ground wires.     I've been looking for the FHD cable , HP 762544-001, in ebay but its very expensive., 50-100$.

See p. 41 of the Manual:

When there are different part numbers for HD and full HD cables you can assume the HD cable will not work for a FHD screen which I guess means it is not a 2-channel thing.

A quick search on eBay confirms that FHD cable is not cheap.

A little cheaper here but UK:

I was able to locate a dual channel lvds cable for 10$. hehehe. Now I am looking for IPS 1080 screen replacement.   🙂
